Last Updated: June 19, 2026
At Tax Calculus, accessible from gstcalculations.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Tax Calculus and how we use it.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us at support@gstcalculations.com.
1. Information We Collect and Store
Tax Calculus is built as a client-side utility tool. The primary functions of this website execute directly in your web browser.
- No Financial Logging: We do not upload, transmit, or save any numbers, transaction details, or tax calculations to remote servers. All your tax estimations are processed in real-time in memory.
- Browser Local Storage: The calculator history feature stores your recent calculations locally on your device's browser using
localStorage. This data stays strictly on your machine, and you can clear it at any time by clicking the "Clear History" button on the app. - No Personal Sign-ups: We do not require any registration, email address verification, or account creation to use the core GST calculator.
2. Log Files
Like most websites, Tax Calculus utilizes standard hosting log files. These files log visitors when they access the website. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
3. Third-party Privacy Policies
Tax Calculus's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party services for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
4. Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Tax Calculus does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
5. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
